        Terms and conditions

        Applicability

        • The above rates are on a per head basis ONLY.
        • For Returning Students, all fees are payable during the first week of classes each month.

        Time and Venue

          • Klang Valley weekly group classes venue: The Place, Damansara Perdana
            Schedule for Klang Valley Group Class: Every Saturday from 10.30 am – 12 pm.
          • You are highly encouraged to attend classes at least once a week, to keep up with the progress of the training. Frequent or habitual absenteeism is not a culture in our training school.

        Expiration and refunds

        • The expiration policy requires completion of all Group or Private Training Sessions within 30 days (Monthly package), 60 days (2-Month Combo), and 90 days (3-Month Combo) from the date of the enrolment.
        • Missed classes are not replaceable or refundable unless canceled by the instructor.
        • All fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal or non-attendance.

        MEDIA WAIVER

        • Participants in our group classes may be photographed, videotaped, or recorded during the session. We reserve the right to use such photos, videos, or recordings for promotional purposes, including but not limited to use on our website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials. By participating in our classes, you acknowledge and consent to the use of your likeness in such media, and waive any claims related to its use.

        • Participants are NOT ALLOWED to take photos, videos, or any form of recording during class unless the instructor gives prior permission. This is to protect the privacy, safety, and focus of all participants.

        Declarations

        • You warrant and represent that you are in good physical and mental condition and have no medical reason or impairment that might prevent you from participating in Urban Street Defense Centre’s courses. If you have any health concerns, you should consult your physician before taking part in any training.

        • Reality Based Self=Defense training may naturally involve the risk of injury, whether caused by you, another participant, or the training environment. By joining and participating, you understand and voluntarily accept this risk and agree that Urban Street Defense Centre, its instructors, assistants, employees, volunteers, agents, and independent contractors shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage unless proven to result from gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the Centre, the training venue, or its representatives.

        • All equipment provided or sold by Urban Street Defense Centre—including personal gear, Centre-owned shared equipment, and equipment supplied during external workshops—is inspected before use. You are responsible for checking any equipment you use, and if you notice any defect or damage, do not use the equipment. Once equipment is issued, purchased, or used by you, you are responsible for maintaining it in acceptable condition. Urban Street Defense Centre is not liable for any equipment defects or damage caused by yourself or other participants, whether the equipment is used inside the Centre or at an external training venue. The Centre will also not be responsible for any injuries resulting from defective or damaged equipment, regardless of who caused the damage.

        • While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure safety, martial arts involves unpredictable movements and contact. Minor injuries may still occur even under supervision. Any support or assistance provided by Urban Street Defense Centre in the event of an incident will be on a goodwill (ex-gratia) basis and considered full and final settlement of the matter.

        • Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality and mutual respect regarding any incidents that occur during training. You also agree not to make or share any misleading or negative statements — including on social media — that could harm the reputation of Urban Street Defense Centre or its instructors.

        • By submitting your registration online, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this declaration and all related terms and conditions. Your name, contact details, and timestamp of registration serve as your digital consent, equivalent to a handwritten signature.

        Cancelation and Force Majeure

        • You are to inform your instructor should you decide to take a break or withdraw from the Group Class 2 weeks before the New Month or New Intake Date.
        • The instructor reserves the right to terminate a student’s participation for misconduct or failure to comply with the terms.
        • Students arriving late to class will receive the remaining scheduled session time unless other arrangements have been previously made with the instructor.
        • If either Party is affected by Force Majeure, it shall, as soon as practicable, notify the other Party of the nature and extent of the circumstances in question.
        • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, no occurrence of an event of Force Majeure shall relieve our organization to deliver its due lesson/s as soon as practicable.

        PRIVACY AND DATA

        • By completing your registration or submitting any forms to us, you provide us with legitimate interest to hold and maintain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. I understand that my consent for further contact is confirmed until revoked. We will protect your personal data and only use it to provide our services.

        Private Class

        Choose the number of one-to-one hourly private lessons and get the instructor to come to your place or at our training location at a pre-arranged time and day.

        Women Self-Defense Course

        A three-month intensive course in self-defense specifically designed for women and is only offered on-demand and during certain seasons.

        Corporate TRAINING

        HRD Corp Claimable in-house training program that covers practical self-defense with aspects of laws and HR policies related to personal safety against workplace violence, physical threats, and sexual harassment. Learn not just by theories but practical lessons as well.

        Public Programs

        HRD Corp Claimable Public Program for organizations to send 5 or lesser people to attend our program. An alternative to our in-house training program.

        Online Self-Learning
